George Washington at Loyola Chicago

CHICAGO (Interstat) — The George Washington Revolutionaries visit the Loyola Chicago Ramblers in an Atlantic 10 men’s basketball matchup on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Joseph Gentile Center.

George Washington (17-13) enters the regular-season finale on a high note, coming off a 91-82 overtime victory over Saint Bonaventure on Wednesday. The Revolutionaries have won four of their last six games. Loyola Chicago (7-23) looks to halt a two-game skid after a 79-65 loss at Saint Louis on Wednesday. The Ramblers have struggled in conference play, winning just twice since Jan. 30.

The Revolutionaries, who dominated the first meeting 101-66 on Jan. 10, are led by guard Jean Aranguren. He scored 20 points in the win over Saint Bonaventure and is averaging 14.3 points and 5.4 assists over his last seven games. His standout performance was a triple-double (18 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) in a narrow loss at Duquesne on Feb. 7.

Loyola Chicago will rely on forward Xavier Amos, who is coming off a season-high 25 points against Saint Louis. His production has been inconsistent, however, scoring in single digits in three of his last six outings. Guard Kayde Dotson, who had 19 points against the Billikens, provides secondary scoring.

For George Washington, Tyrone Marshall (16 points vs. Saint Bonaventure) and Christian Jones (11 points, 4 assists) offer support. Loyola’s Miles Rubin anchors the defense, blocking five shots in the last game.

The Revolutionaries average 78.2 points per game, while the Ramblers average just 65.3. Loyola Chicago will need a significant defensive improvement to counter George Washington’s offense, which topped 100 points in two of its last five games.

Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST. George Washington seeks a winning conference record, while Loyola Chicago aims to close a difficult season with an upset on its home floor.
