BURLINGTON, Vt. (Interstat) — Noah Barnett’s tip-in with 10 seconds remaining Thursday night lifted Vermont to a 66-64 victory over Massachusetts-Lowell in a men’s America East conference game at Roy L. Patrick Gymnasium.

The Catamounts, who led 34-30 at halftime, survived a late push from the River Hawks. Vermont’s Gus Yalden scored 21 points and TJ Hurley added 19. Austin Green led Massachusetts-Lowell with 16 points.

The win improved Vermont to 19-11 overall. Massachusetts-Lowell fell to 13-16. An announced crowd of 2,496 attended.
