NEW YORK (Interstat) — Fordham held off a second-half rally by Loyola Chicago for a 62-59 victory in an Atlantic 10 men’s basketball game Wednesday night at Rose Hill Gym.

The Rams led 33-21 at halftime but saw the Ramblers surge after the break. Loyola Chicago outscored Fordham 38-29 in the second half, closing the gap to a single possession late. The Rams secured the win to improve to 15-12 overall. The Ramblers fell to 6-21.

DeJour Reaves led Fordham, while Xavier Amos paced Loyola Chicago. Attendance was 1,212. Fordham hosts Davidson on Saturday. Loyola Chicago visits Saint Joseph’s.
