DURHAM, N.C. (Interstat) — Duke overwhelmed Syracuse 101-64 in Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball Monday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Devils (24-2, 14-1 ACC) pulled away with a 61-point second half, turning a 40-24 halftime lead into a lopsided victory before a crowd of 9,314. The Orange (14-12, 5-10) lost for the fifth time in seven games.
Duke’s offense was efficient throughout, shooting over 50% from the floor and from 3-point range. The Blue Devils also converted more than 80% of their free throws. Syracuse struggled to find consistent offense, shooting under 40% overall.
