BOSTON (Interstat) — Michael McNair scored 28 points to lead Boston University to an 82-69 victory over Bucknell in a Patriot League men’s basketball game Saturday at Agganis Arena.

The Terriers never trailed after a 17-0 first-half run, fueled by three consecutive McNair 3-pointers, established a 42-27 halftime lead. The Bison cut the deficit to five points midway through the second half, but Boston University responded with a 10-2 spurt to secure the win.

McNair added seven rebounds for Boston University. Sam Hughes had 15 points and nine rebounds. Achile Spadone led Bucknell with 19 points. Attendance was 733.
