NEWTON, Mass. (Interstat) — Malik Reneau scored 23 points and Shelton Henderson added 19 as Miami edged Boston College 74-68 in an Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Silvio O. Conte Forum.

The Hurricanes (18-5) led 34-33 at halftime and maintained a narrow advantage throughout the second half. Tre Donaldson contributed 14 points and seven assists for Miami, which dominated inside with 44 paint points.

Boden Kapke led Boston College (9-14) with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Donald Hand scored 20 for the Eagles, who shot just 40% from the field. A crowd of 6,133 watched as Miami improved its efficient offense, shooting 51.9% on two-point attempts to secure the road victory.
