RALEIGH, N.C. (Interstat) — North Carolina State pulled away in the second half to defeat Syracuse 88-68 in an Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball game Tuesday night at Lenovo Center.

The Wolfpack led 41-37 at halftime before outscoring the Orange 47-31 after the break. The victory improved North Carolina State to 15-6 overall, while Syracuse fell to 11-9. A crowd of 15,636 watched the game, in which the Wolfpack covered the pregame spread as a 10.5-point favorite. The combined score fell under the over/under line of 150.5.
