CHARLESTON, S.C. (Interstat) — The Citadel rallied from a 12-point halftime deficit to edge Furman 77-75 in overtime in a Southern Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday night at McAlister Field House.

Sola Adebisi scored 22 points to lead the Bulldogs, who outscored the Paladins 39-27 in the second half to force the extra period. Furman led 40-28 at halftime but shot just 6 for 29 from 3-point range. Charles Johnston scored 15 points for Furman.

The Citadel, which improved to 6-14, made 23 of 30 free throws. Furman, which fell to 13-7, missed a chance to tie in the final seconds of overtime. Attendance was 1,433.
