Fordham at Davidson

DAVIDSON, N.C. (Interstat) — The Davidson Wildcats will look to protect their home court and improve their standing in the Atlantic 10 when they host the Fordham Rams on Wednesday night at Belk Arena.

Davidson (11-6) enters the conference matchup riding momentum from an 84-79 road victory over George Washington last Wednesday. The Wildcats’ offense was fueled by Roberts Blums’ 21 points and a 17-point, 3-assist effort from guard Devin Brown. Brown, a key player to watch, will aim for a more consistent scoring output after being held to single digits in three of his last four games prior to that breakout.

Fordham (10-9) seeks to halt a two-game skid, most recently a 74-63 home loss to Duquesne on Saturday. The Rams’ fortunes often hinge on the dynamic play of guard DeJour Reaves, who is in the midst of a stellar individual stretch. Over his last seven games, Reaves is averaging over 19 points per contest, including a 31-point, 6-assist performance in a win at Saint Bonaventure on Jan. 10. Containing him will be a primary focus for the Wildcats’ defense.

The matchup presents a contrast in recent trajectories. Davidson has won three of its last four, while Fordham has dropped five of its last six, though several losses were closely contested. The Rams will need secondary scoring beyond Reaves, potentially from Akira Jacobs or Christian Henry, who combined for 23 points in the loss to Duquesne.

This game marks the first of two regular-season meetings between the teams this season, with the rematch scheduled for Feb. 21 at Rose Hill Gym in New York. Wednesday’s contest is critical for both sides looking to climb the A-10 table as the conference schedule nears its midpoint.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026.
