CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Interstat) — Harvard held off a second-half rally to defeat Penn 64-63 in an Ivy League men’s basketball game Monday afternoon at Lavietes Pavilion.

The Crimson led 31-26 at halftime. The Quakers surged after the break, outscoring Harvard 37-33 in the second half, but fell just short. The victory improved Harvard to 10-8 overall. Penn dropped to 9-8. Attendance was 1,299. Harvard was a 4.5-point pregame favorite. The combined score fell well under the over/under line of 148.5.
