FOUNTAIN HILL, Pa. (Interstat) — Austin Benigni scored 34 points to lead Navy to an 82-79 double-overtime victory over Lehigh in a Patriot League men’s basketball game Saturday at Stabler Arena.

The Midshipmen (13-6) survived a 31-point performance from Lehigh’s Nasir Whitlock. The game was tied at 59 after regulation and 67 following the first overtime. Navy secured the win in the second extra period despite committing 16 turnovers.

Navy’s Aidan Kehoe added 21 points. Both teams shot 30 of 69 from the floor, but Navy made 8 of 19 from 3-point range while Lehigh hit just 6 of 29. The Mountain Hawks fell to 7-12.
