NEW YORK (Interstat) — George Mason overcame a slow start to defeat Fordham 67-58 in an Atlantic 10 Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday night at Rose Hill Gym. The Patriots, trailing 28-23 at halftime, outscored the Rams 44-30 in the second half.

Riley Allenspach led George Mason with 18 points, scoring 14 after intermission to fuel the comeback. Fatt Hill added 11 points for the Patriots, who improved to 15-1. DeJour Reaves scored 16 points for Fordham, which fell to 9-7. Jack Whitbourn added 14 points for the Rams.

A crowd of 577 watched as George Mason, a 5 1/2-point favorite, secured the road victory.
