DAYTON, Ohio (Interstat) — The Dayton Flyers edged the Fordham Rams 63-56 in an Atlantic 10 men’s basketball game Wednesday at University of Dayton Arena.

Dayton’s Jordan Derkack led all players with 15 points and 14 rebounds. The Flyers, who led by as many as 12 points in the first half, saw their advantage shrink to two late in the second half before securing the win with clutch free throws from Keonte Jones and Jaiun Simon in the final minute.

DeJour Reaves scored 18 points for Fordham, which got a combined 26 rebounds from Rikus Schulte and Jack Whitbourn. The loss dropped Fordham to 9-5 overall, while Dayton improved to 10-3.
