Michigan Remains Unbeaten With Dominant Victory Over McNeese State
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Interstat) — Michigan overwhelmed McNeese State 112-71 in a nonconference men’s basketball game Monday night at Crisler Center. The Wolverines improved to 12-0 while the Cowboys fell to 10-3.
Michigan built a commanding 60-29 lead by halftime and never relented before an announced crowd of 12,707. The Wolverines’ offense proved unstoppable, surpassing the 100-point mark for the seventh time this season. McNeese State showed more fight after halftime but could not overcome the massive early deficit.
The lopsided result was expected, as Michigan was a heavy pregame favorite and the total score went well over the projected point line. The Wolverines continue their pursuit of a perfect season when they host Southern California on Jan. 2.
