DePaul vs. Georgia Tech

NICEVILLE, Fla. (Interstat) — Two teams off to strong starts, the DePaul Blue Demons and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, will meet in a non-conference men’s basketball showdown on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at Raider Arena.

DePaul (4-2) enters the contest riding a two-game winning streak, including a 95-75 rout of Detroit this past Sunday. The Blue Demons’ offense was powered by Layden Blocker (18 points), CJ Gunn (17 points) and RJ Smith (10 points, 7 assists) in that victory. Their two losses this season came in close fashion to Northwestern and against Buffalo.

Georgia Tech (5-1) is coming off an 82-66 win over West Georgia, fueled by a dominant double-double from Baye Ndongo, who posted 14 points and 14 rebounds. The Yellow Jackets’ lone blemish is a narrow 92-87 road loss to in-state rival Georgia.

The matchup pits DePaul’s high-scoring attack against a Georgia Tech squad that has relied on stout defense and rebounding to build its record. The game is part of a multi-team event and serves as a final tune-up before both teams dive into difficult stretches. DePaul travels to face LSU the following day, while Georgia Tech hosts Mississippi State on Dec. 3.
