Merrimack at Penn
PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — The Penn Quakers look to build on a strong city-series win when they host the struggling Merrimack Warriors in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at The Palestra.
Penn (3-2) is coming off an 84-68 victory at Drexel last Friday. Ethan Roberts led the way with 30 points, while TJ Power added 18 points. The Quakers have won two straight, including a win over Saint Joseph’s, after opening the season with a pair of road losses.
Merrimack (2-4) seeks to rebound from a lopsided 80-45 defeat at Florida last Friday. Kevair Kennedy scored 14 points in the loss, the Warriors’ fourth in their last five games. Their two wins this season came against Maine and Boston University, both at home.
The game is part of a multi-team event hosted in Philadelphia. Both teams will face La Salle and Hofstra in the following days. For Merrimack, this begins a challenging stretch of seven consecutive road games.
Friday’s contest pits Penn’s offense, which has averaged 81 points in its three wins, against a Merrimack team that has been held under 66 points in three of its four losses. The Warriors will need to contain Roberts and Power to have a chance on the road.
Tip-off is set for Friday evening at The Palestra.
