NJIT at Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Interstat) — The NJIT Highlanders (3-2) visit the Navy Midshipmen (2-3) in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Alumni Hall.

Both teams are looking to rebound from double-digit road losses in their last outings. NJIT is coming off a 75-43 defeat at Drexel on Tuesday, where Ari Fulton led the team with 13 points. Navy fell 73-61 at North Carolina on the same afternoon, paced by Austin Benigni’s 19 points and five assists.

The Highlanders have shown a pattern of alternating wins and losses this season. Following their blowout loss to Drexel, they will aim to restart a winning streak after previously defeating Fairleigh Dickinson 93-81 and Loyola Maryland 66-64.

The Midshipmen’s season has been marked by inconsistency, with their two victories (Interstat) — a 97-64 rout of Washington College and a 76-55 win at Presbyterian (Interstat) — bookended by three losses. Their defense will be tested by an NJIT offense that scored 93 points in its last home game.

The matchup features two guards coming off strong individual performances. NJIT will rely on Fulton, while Navy looks to Benigni to facilitate the offense.

Following this game, NJIT continues a challenging road stretch with games at Cincinnati and Louisville. Navy remains at home to host Gardner-Webb on Nov. 26.

Tipoff is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Alumni Hall in Cape Saint Claire.
