South Alabama at UAB

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Interstat) — The undefeated South Alabama Jaguars put their perfect record on the line Friday afternoon when they visit the UAB Blazers at Bartow Arena.

South Alabama (6-0) is coming off a 71-65 road win at Jacksonville State on Wednesday. The Jaguars have relied on a balanced scoring attack, with Chaze Harris (19 points), Peyton Law (18 points) and Jayden Cooper (13 points) leading the way in their most recent victory. Their early season slate has been tested, featuring three wins by four points or fewer, including a 76-74 victory at Toledo.

UAB (3-2) returns home after a dominant 112-56 win over Rhodes College on Monday. The Blazers showcased their interior strength in that contest, with Daniel Rivera recording a 20-point, 15-rebound double-double and KyeRon Lindsay-Martin adding 11 points and 14 rebounds. UAB’s two losses this season came in a 94-70 defeat at North Carolina State and a surprising 77-74 home loss to Alabama State.

The in-state matchup offers a contrast in styles. The Jaguars will look to extend their winning streak with their consistent backcourt, while the Blazers will aim to use their size and home-court advantage to hand South Alabama its first loss.

Tipoff is set for Friday, Nov. 21, 2025. Following this game, UAB will face Southern Illinois on Nov. 24 in Jacksonville, Florida, while South Alabama’s next contest is at Texas-San Antonio on Nov. 30.
