Binghamton at Longwood
FARMVILLE, Va. (Interstat) — The Longwood Lancers, returning home after an impressive road win, will host the Binghamton Bearcats in a non-conference men’s basketball matchup on Saturday at Willet Hall.
Longwood (2-1) is coming off an 82-72 victory over James Madison on Wednesday. The Lancers showcased a balanced scoring attack in that contest, with Johan Nziemi, Jacoi Hutchinson and Elijah Tucker each contributing 12 points. Their only loss this season came on the road against Pittsburgh.
Binghamton (1-3) seeks to rebound from a 70-83 loss at Georgetown on the same night. Guard Jeremiah Quigley led the Bearcats in that game, scoring 17 points and dishing out eight assists. Forward Bryson Wilson added 13 points, six rebounds and two blocks. The Bearcats’ lone win this season was a 66-56 home victory against RIT on Nov. 5, with losses also coming against Syracuse and Niagara.
Saturday’s game continues a challenging early-season stretch for Binghamton, while Longwood looks to build momentum before embarking on a four-game road trip starting Nov. 23 at Columbia.
