Louisiana Tech at Nevada

RENO, Nev. (Interstat) — The Nevada Wolf Pack and Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, both looking to start the season on a positive note, will meet in a non-conference men’s basketball game Tuesday at Lawlor Events Center.

The contest marks the official opener for both programs after they concluded the 2024-25 season with narrow road losses in their respective conference tournaments last March. Louisiana Tech fell 77-75 in double-overtime to Middle Tennessee in the Conference USA tournament, while Nevada dropped its Mountain West Conference tournament game to Colorado State, 67-59.

This early-season matchup provides a test for both squads before they dive into their full schedules. For Louisiana Tech, the game against Nevada is the first of a two-game road trip that includes a visit to Indiana State later in November. The Bulldogs will play their home opener on Nov. 9 against Lyon.

Nevada will use this game as a tune-up before hitting the road for a matchup at Santa Clara on Nov. 15. The Wolf Pack’s non-conference slate also features a neutral-site game against Washington and a road test at Washington State in December.

Tipoff is set for Tuesday night in Reno.
