Grand Canyon Dominates Air Force in Road Victory
AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (Interstat) — Grand Canyon led wire-to-wire in an 86-60 rout of Air Force in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Tuesday night at Clune Arena.
The Antelopes were in full control, building a 43-24 halftime lead and maintaining their advantage throughout the second half before an announced crowd of 2,002. The Falcons could not mount a comeback, falling to 3-27 this season.
Grand Canyon, which improved to 18-11, swept the season series after also defeating Air Force by 24 points last month. The Antelopes have won three of their last five games. Air Force has lost 10 straight.
The Falcons next play at Nevada on Saturday, while Grand Canyon hosts Fresno State.
