IOWA CITY, Iowa (Interstat) — The Iowa Hawkeyes used a consistent offensive performance to defeat the Ohio State Buckeyes 74-57 in a Big Ten men’s basketball game Wednesday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Iowa scored 37 points in each half before a crowd of 10,368 to secure the victory. Ohio State managed only 23 points before halftime and could not close the gap after the break. The win improved Iowa’s record to 20-8 this season, while Ohio State fell to 17-11. The Hawkeyes were pregame favorites and covered the spread in the victory.
