GREELEY, Colo. (Interstat) — Brock Wisne scored 38 points to lead Northern Colorado to a 78-77 men’s basketball victory over Northern Arizona on Saturday at Butler-Hancock Athletic Center.

The Bears led 43-41 at halftime and held off a late push from the Lumberjacks. Northern Arizona’s Chris Komin scored 34 points, including a 3-pointer with 50 seconds remaining to pull within one point. Wisne made a free throw with 1:03 left for the final margin.

Northern Arizona had a chance to win, but a last-second 3-point attempt missed. The Bears improved to 18-10 overall, while the Lumberjacks fell to 10-18. Northern Colorado dominated inside with 50 points in the paint and recorded six blocks. Northern Arizona forced 10 turnovers, converting them into 15 points.
