HAMILTON, N.Y. (Interstat) — Navy survived a furious second-half rally by Colgate to win 84-80 in overtime in a Patriot League men’s basketball game Saturday at Cotterell Court.

The Midshipmen led by 12 at halftime but were outscored by 12 in the second half as the Raiders forced the extra period. Navy dominated overtime, holding Colgate to just three points. Donovan Draper led Navy with 20 points and eight rebounds. Colgate’s Jalen Cox scored a game-high 30 points in the loss.

Navy improved to 21-6 overall, while Colgate fell to 16-11. The teams will meet again in Annapolis on Feb. 28.
