WEST POINT, N.Y. (Interstat) — Ben Defty scored 24 points to lead Boston University to an 85-68 victory over Army in a Patriot League men’s basketball game Wednesday night at Christl Arena.

The Terriers built a 40-29 halftime lead and maintained control throughout the second half. Boston University shot 65.9% from the floor, dominating inside with 36 points in the paint. Michael McNair added 17 points for the Terriers.

Jacen Holloway led the Black Knights with 19 points. Army struggled offensively, shooting just 22 of 58 from the field and 12 of 37 from 3-point range.

Boston University improved to 11-15 overall. Army fell to 10-16.
