Detroit at Green Bay
Preview: Detroit Titans at Green Bay Phoenix
ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (Interstat) — Horizon League positioning will be on the line Saturday when the Green Bay Phoenix host the Detroit Titans at the Resch Center.
Green Bay (13-11 overall) enters the contest with a slightly more successful season record than Detroit (10-12), setting up a pivotal conference matchup as the regular season enters its final stretch. Both teams are coming off road victories last Wednesday, with Green Bay edging Northern Kentucky 87-84 in overtime and Detroit defeating Milwaukee 76-63.
The Phoenix are led by guard CJ O’Hara, who is averaging 18.4 points over his last five games. He scored 23 points in 38 minutes in the win over Northern Kentucky. O’Hara has been a consistent offensive force, scoring 21 or more points in three of his last five outings.
Detroit will counter with guard TJ Nadeau, who is coming off an 18-point performance against Milwaukee. Nadeau has shown scoring bursts recently, including a 22-point game against Purdue Fort Wayne on Jan. 21 and a 17-point effort against Oakland on Jan. 24. His production will be key for the Titans’ offense.
The teams have followed similar patterns in recent weeks, trading wins and losses against common Horizon League opponents. Both squads have secured wins over Northern Kentucky and Cleveland State, while suffering losses to Oakland and Wright State in recent action.
This game marks the first of two meetings between the programs this month. They are scheduled to play again in Detroit on Sunday, Feb. 22, adding significance to Saturday’s result for both tiebreaker scenarios and conference tournament seeding.
Following this contest, Detroit will prepare for a road game at Wright State on Thursday, Feb. 12. Green Bay will remain at home to host Purdue Fort Wayne on the same date.
Tip-off is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at the Resch Center. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
