Wright State at Green Bay

Horizon League Showdown Set for Resch Center

ASHAWAUBENON, Wis. (Interstat) — A pivotal Horizon League men’s basketball matchup is set for Sunday when the Wright State Raiders visit the Green Bay Phoenix at the Resch Center.

Both teams enter with momentum and nearly identical records, setting the stage for a critical conference clash. Wright State (13-8 overall) has won four of its last five, while Green Bay (12-9) has secured victories in four of its last six.

The Raiders are powered by forward Michael Imariagbe, who is coming off a dominant 24-point, 11-rebound performance in an 88-80 win over Northern Kentucky on Jan. 24. Over his last six games, Imariagbe is averaging 14.2 points and 5.2 rebounds, providing a consistent interior presence.

Green Bay counters with guard Justin Allen, a versatile scorer who posted 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a 71-67 road win at Robert Morris on Jan. 24. Allen exploded for 27 points against Northern Kentucky on Jan. 11, showcasing his ability to carry the Phoenix offense.

History favors Wright State in the recent series. The Raiders routed the Phoenix 86-58 in Dayton on Dec. 7, 2025, in the teams’ first meeting this season. Wright State shot 54.7% from the field in that contest, while holding Green Bay to just 32.8%.

The Phoenix will look to defend their home court more effectively this time. Green Bay is 8-2 at the Resch Center this season, with notable non-conference wins over UC Santa Barbara and a league victory over Milwaukee.

For Wright State, maintaining its offensive efficiency will be key. The Raiders have scored 84 or more points in five of their last seven games. Green Bay’s defense, which allowed 88 points in a loss to Oakland on Jan. 18, will be tested.

Sunday’s result will have significant implications in the tightly contested Horizon League standings as the regular season enters its final month. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. EST.
