WASHINGTON (Interstat) — Cedric Taylor scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Howard to an 88-60 victory over Norfolk State in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Burr Gymnasium.

The Bison (13-9) never trailed, building a 42-28 halftime lead and extending it after the break. Bryce Harris added 27 points and eight rebounds for Howard. Jordan Leaks led the Spartans (10-14) with 13 points.

Howard shot efficiently from the floor while Norfolk State struggled offensively throughout. An announced crowd of 1,848 watched the Bison dominate, covering the pregame spread as the total score went under the projected over/under line.
