WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Interstat) — Paul McNeil scored 28 points to lead North Carolina State to a 96-78 victory over Wake Forest in Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball Saturday at Joel Coliseum.

The Wolfpack (16-6) pulled away in the second half, capitalizing on turnovers by scoring 15 points off them while limiting the Demon Deacons (11-11) to just six. Darrion Williams added 20 points for North Carolina State, and Quadir Copeland dished 10 assists.

Juke Harris led all scorers with 31 points for Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons won the points-in-the-paint battle 30-28 but could not overcome the Wolfpack’s efficient offense and turnover margin.

North Carolina State has won four consecutive games.
