FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (Interstat) — Chris Komin scored 24 points to lead Northern Arizona to an 81-77 men’s basketball victory over Northern Colorado on Saturday at Walkup Skydome.

The Lumberjacks, who improved to 7-14, held a narrow 38-36 halftime lead and maintained their advantage through a back-and-forth second half. Northern Arizona shot 59% from the field and made 9 of 16 three-point attempts to secure the win.

Brock Wisne led the Bears with 18 points. Northern Colorado, which fell to 11-10, shot 50% from the floor but was hampered by 15 turnovers. Zach Bloch added 17 points for the Bears in the conference matchup.
