Utah State at Boise State
BOISE, Idaho (Interstat) — A surging Utah State squad puts its lofty record on the line Saturday against a Boise State team seeking a signature Mountain West victory at Taco Bell Arena.
The No. - ranked Aggies (13-1, 3-0 MW) have won six straight, including a dominant 99-62 road win at Air Force on Tuesday. Utah State’s high-powered offense, averaging 88.1 points during its winning streak, features balanced scoring. Mason Falslev has been a consistent force, averaging 16.0 points on 61% shooting over his last five games. In the win over Air Force, MJ Collins led the way with 20 points.
Boise State (9-6, 1-1) looks to rebound from a 75-58 home loss to Grand Canyon on Wednesday. The Broncos have shown resilience, most notably in a narrow 110-107 triple-overtime loss at San Diego State last Saturday. Guard Javan Buchanan, who scored 29 points in that marathon contest, is a key offensive catalyst. His production, however, has fluctuated, highlighting the Broncos’ search for consistency.
Utah State’s only loss came at South Florida in early December. Since then, their average margin of victory is 22.2 points. Boise State’s defense, which allowed Grand Canyon to shoot 54% midweek, will be severely tested.
The Aggies won both meetings last season. This contest begins a pivotal stretch for Boise State, which plays five of its next seven on the road.
Tipoff is set for Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, in Boise.
