ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Interstat) — Navy overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Air Force 61-56 in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Sunday at Alumni Hall.

The Falcons led 25-24 at the break, but the Midshipmen surged with 37 second-half points to secure the victory. Navy improved to 6-5 overall, while Air Force fell to 3-8. A crowd of 1,928 saw the Midshipmen outscore the Falcons 8-0 on fastbreak points, a key difference in the game. Navy was a pregame favorite and the combined score fell well below the over/under line.
