Texas A&M vs. Florida State
TAMPA, Fla. (Interstat) — A pair of surging teams will clash in a non-conference men’s basketball matchup Friday when the Texas A&M Aggies face the Florida State Seminoles at USF Baseball Stadium.
The Aggies (5-2) enter on a three-game winning streak, including a dominant 120-84 victory over Mississippi Valley State on Tuesday. Texas A&M’s offense has been potent, averaging 105.6 points during the streak. Ruben Dominguez, Mackenzie Mgbako and Marcus Hill have provided balanced scoring, combining for 45 points in the team’s last outing.
Florida State (5-1) has also found its rhythm, winning five straight since a narrow 78-76 road loss to rival Florida on Nov. 11. The Seminoles are coming off an 89-59 rout of Cal State Bakersfield, where Chauncey Wiggins (17 points), Robert McCray (14 points) and Martin Somerville (14 points) led a productive offensive effort.
The neutral-site game in Tampa offers both teams a final major non-conference test before their schedules intensify. Texas A&M will visit Pittsburgh next Tuesday, while Florida State hosts Georgia the same day.
Tip-off is set for Friday, Nov. 28, 2025.
