WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Interstat) — Daniel Jacobsen scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Purdue to a 109-62 victory over Eastern Illinois on Friday afternoon at Mackey Arena. The Boilermakers improved to 7-0, while the Panthers fell to 2-5. Purdue led 53-28 at halftime and never looked back, with Fletcher Loyer adding 15 points. Braden Smith dished out 10 assists for the Boilermakers in the dominant non-conference win. A crowd of 14,876 watched the game.
