Georgetown vs. Dayton
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Interstat) — Two unbeaten streaks will be on the line when the Georgetown Hoyas face the Dayton Flyers in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball matchup on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Georgetown (5-0) is one of the early surprises of the season, riding a perfect start that includes a 79-74 win over then-Clemson and a road victory at Maryland. The Hoyas are coming off a 92-75 win over Wagner on Saturday, where Julius Halaifonua led the way with 16 points and nine rebounds. Guards KJ Lewis and Caleb Williams have provided a steadying presence in the backcourt.
Dayton (5-1) has won five straight since a season-opening 74-62 loss at Cincinnati. The Flyers’ most impressive win came in a 77-71 overtime victory at Marquette last week. They are led by De’Shayne Montgomery, who scored 17 points in their most recent win, a 74-55 victory over North Carolina Central.
The neutral-site game is part of a multi-team event. Both teams are scheduled to face BYU at the same venue the following day.
The matchup pits Georgetown’s high-powered offense against a Dayton defense that has held its last two opponents under 60 points. The Hoyas will look to extend their perfect start, while the Flyers aim to continue their winning streak and hand Georgetown its first loss.
