Idaho vs. Cal State Northridge

BOISE, Idaho (Interstat) — A pair of 3-2 teams looking to build early-season momentum will meet when the Idaho Vandals face the Cal State Northridge Matadors in a non-conference men’s basketball game Wednesday at CenturyLink Arena.

Both teams are coming off dominant home victories. Idaho routed Eastern Oregon 97-68 on Saturday, led by Jackson Rasmussen’s 22 points. The Vandals also own a season-opening road win over Washington State.

Cal State Northridge last played on Nov. 16, defeating Troy 94-85. Joshua O’Garro powered the Matadors with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds.

The game is part of a multi-team event in Boise. Idaho will remain in the arena to face Sam Houston on Friday, while Cal State Northridge will play Idaho State at the same venue.

The matchup pits Idaho’s offense, which has scored 97 points in two of its wins, against a Cal State Northridge team that has shown its own high-scoring capabilities with 93 and 94-point outbursts this season.
