Georgia Southern at Florida State
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Interstat) — The Georgia Southern Eagles look to rebound from a narrow road loss when they visit the Florida State Seminoles in a non-conference men’s basketball matchup on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.
Georgia Southern (3-2) arrives at the Donald L. Tucker Center following a 68-66 defeat at Georgia Tech on Tuesday. Khayri Dunn led the Eagles with 13 points in the loss, while Alden Applewhite added 11 points and three assists. The Eagles’ two losses this season have been by a combined five points.
Florida State (3-1) is coming off an 87-73 home victory over Tennessee-Martin on Tuesday. In that game, Cam Miles scored 17 points and Robert McCray added 16 points and seven assists. The Seminoles’ lone blemish was a two-point loss on the road to rival Florida.
The Eagles have shown a potent offense, averaging over 88 points per game, but face a Florida State team that has eclipsed 100 points twice already this season at home. The Seminoles will be tested by a Georgia Southern squad that has proven competitive in tight games.
This contest is the first of a challenging two-game Florida trip for Georgia Southern. Florida State continues its season-opening homestand before a neutral-site game against Texas A&M.
