North Dakota at Creighton

OMAHA, Neb. (Interstat) — The Creighton Bluejays look to build on a dominant home victory when they host the North Dakota Fighting Hawks in a nonconference men’s basketball game Wednesday night at CenturyLink Center.

Creighton (2-1) is coming off an 84-45 rout of Maryland-Eastern Shore last Friday. Blake Harper led the way with 14 points and nine rebounds, while Owen Freeman added nine points, eight rebounds and five assists.

The Bluejays’ lone blemish is a 90-63 road loss to Gonzaga on Nov. 11.

North Dakota (2-3) arrives after snapping a three-game skid with a 76-74 road win at UC Riverside on Saturday. Greyson Uelmen scored a team-high 18 points in the victory, and Marley Curtis added 15 points. The Fighting Hawks’ other win was a 128-58 blowout of Mayville State.

This game begins a challenging two-game road trip for Creighton, which travels to face Baylor and Iowa State in a Las Vegas tournament next week. North Dakota continues a stretch of four straight road games.
