Manhattan at Hawaii

HONOLULU (Interstat) — The Manhattan Jaspers and Hawaii Warriors, both looking to build momentum after early-season splits, will face off in a non-conference men’s basketball game Friday at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Both teams enter the 2025-26 season matchup with 1-1 records. Manhattan is coming off a high-scoring 114-83 road loss to Southern California on Sunday. In that game, Jaden Winston led the Jaspers with 29 points, while Terrance Jones added 18 points and Anthony Isaac scored 16. The Jaspers opened their season with a dominant 125-59 home victory over St. Joseph’s.

Hawaii also arrives home after a decisive win, having defeated Texas A&M-Commerce 100-74 on Sunday. The Warriors’ season began with a narrow 60-59 road loss to Oregon.

The game marks the start of a challenging two-game road trip for Manhattan, which will travel to face Mississippi Valley State the following night. For Hawaii, it is the second contest in a season-opening seven-game homestand. The Warriors will host Utah Tech on Saturday.

Tipoff is set for Friday, Nov. 14, at the Stan Sheriff Center on the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus.
