UNC Greensboro at Kansas State
MANHATTAN, Kan. (Interstat) — The Kansas State Wildcats will open their 2025-26 men’s basketball season at home Tuesday against the UNC Greensboro Spartans at Bramlage Coliseum.
Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records, looking to start the new campaign with a victory after concluding the previous season with losses in March.
The Wildcats finished their 2024-25 season with a 70-56 loss to Baylor in the Big 12 Conference tournament on March 12. They will look to establish momentum early in non-conference play under the guidance of coach Jerome Tang.
The Spartans, coached by Mike Jones, last played on March 8, 2025, falling 64-57 to Virginia Military Institute. The game against Kansas State marks the start of a challenging early schedule for UNC Greensboro, which includes a road game against North Carolina State on Nov. 12.
This will be the first meeting between the two programs. For Kansas State, it begins a slate of non-conference games that features a neutral-site matchup with Mississippi State in Kansas City and a road game at Indiana. UNC Greensboro’s upcoming schedule includes a multi-team event in Jacksonville, Florida, later in November.
Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. EST Tuesday.
