NEW YORK (Interstat) — The NJIT Highlanders and Fordham Rams will tip off their 2025-26 men’s basketball seasons against each other on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Rose Hill Gym.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records, looking to start the new campaign with a victory. The game marks the official debut for both programs after their 2024-25 seasons concluded in March.

NJIT will look to carry momentum from its most recent result, a 75-72 road victory over the Binghamton Bearcats on March 4. Fordham, meanwhile, aims to rebound from an 88-81 loss to George Washington in its last outing on March 13.

The matchup begins a challenging early stretch for the visiting Highlanders, who will play eight of their first nine games on the road. Following the Fordham game, NJIT’s 10-game schedule includes a demanding road trip with games at Cincinnati and Louisville later in November.

The Rams open their season with a four-game homestand at Rose Hill Gym, starting with the Highlanders. Fordham’s non-conference slate also features a multi-team event in Laval, Quebec, in late November.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST on Tuesday.
