LAS VEGAS (Interstat) — The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels will open their 2025-26 men’s basketball season at home against the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records, looking for a fresh start after their 2024-25 campaigns ended in defeat. UNLV concluded its season with a 70-58 loss to Utah State on March 13, 2025. Tennessee-Martin last played on March 6, 2025, falling 82-77 to Arkansas-Little Rock.

The game marks the beginning of a challenging non-conference schedule for the Runnin’ Rebels, who will face a quick turnaround with home games against Chattanooga and Montana following this opener. UNLV’s early slate also includes notable road tests at Memphis and Maryland.

For the Skyhawks, the trip to Las Vegas is the first of three consecutive road games to start their season. After facing UNLV, Tennessee-Martin will travel to play Bradley and Florida State before its home opener on Nov. 22.

The matchup will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. PST at the Thomas & Mack Center.
