Mount Saint Mary`s at Ohio State
COLUMBUS, Ohio (Interstat) — The unbeaten Ohio State Buckeyes look to continue their strong start to the season when they host the struggling Mount Saint Mary’s Mountaineers in a nonconference men’s basketball game Tuesday.
The Buckeyes (5-0) are off to their best start in several seasons and are coming off a dominant 91-58 victory over Western Michigan on Thursday. Ohio State’s offense has been potent, averaging 88.4 points per game, led by the backcourt trio of Bruce Thornton, John Mobley and Christoph Tilly.
Mount Saint Mary’s (1-5) arrives in Columbus on a four-game losing streak. The Mountaineers fell 83-60 at Western Michigan on Sunday, just four days after the same Broncos team was soundly defeated by the Buckeyes. Mount Saint Mary’s has shown flashes, taking Maryland to overtime in a 95-90 loss on Nov. 19, but has struggled with consistency.
The game at Value City Arena presents a stark contrast in early-season momentum. Ohio State will be heavily favored against a Mountaineers squad that has yet to win a road game this season. For Mount Saint Mary’s, the matchup is a formidable challenge against a power-conference opponent firing on all cylinders.
Tipoff is set for Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.
