STEPHENVILLE, Texas (Interstat) — The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders, coming off a dominant season-opening win, will visit the winless Tarleton State Texans in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Wisdom Gym.

The Islanders (1-0) opened their season with an 83-56 victory over Trinity on Monday. Daniel Michelini-Jackson led the way with 16 points, six rebounds and six assists, while Mason Gibson added a team-high 19 points.

Tarleton State (0-2) is seeking its first win after a challenging start on the road. The Texans fell 96-60 at LSU on Wednesday, with Kade Douglas scoring 19 points. They also lost 96-76 at SMU on Monday.

The game presents a contrast in early-season momentum. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s balanced offensive attack will be tested against a Tarleton State team looking to defend its home court and rebound from two decisive losses.

Following this contest, the Islanders face a quick turnaround with a road game at Kansas on Tuesday. The Texans will remain at home to host Merrimack on the same night.
