ROSEMONT, Ill. (Interstat) — DePaul overwhelmed Morgan State from the opening tip, cruising to a 92-49 victory in a nonconference men’s basketball game Tuesday night at Allstate Arena.

The Blue Demons (7-3) built a 46-15 halftime lead and never relented, scoring another 46 points in the second half. The Bears (1-8) struggled offensively throughout, shooting poorly from the field. DePaul’s balanced attack and defensive pressure controlled the game, which was witnessed by a crowd of 2,966.

The Blue Demons exceeded their pregame spread as a heavy favorite, while the combined score fell well under the projected total. DePaul faces Wichita State next, while Morgan State hosts Niagara.
