LINCOLN, Neb. (Interstat) — The undefeated Nebraska Cornhuskers look to extend their hot start when they host the South Carolina Upstate Spartans in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Nebraska (7-0) is coming off an 80-73 home victory over Winthrop on Tuesday. Rienk Mast led the way with a career-high 31 points. The Cornhuskers’ perfect record includes notable road wins at Kansas State and New Mexico.

South Carolina Upstate (4-4) arrives with momentum after an 82-67 home win against North Carolina Central on Tuesday. The Spartans were led by a balanced scoring attack, with Mason Bendinger scoring 19 points, Karmani Gregory adding 17 and Jafeth Martinez contributing 16 points and five blocks.

The Spartans have shown a pattern of strong performances at home, including two wins by more than 50 points, but have struggled on the road, where they are 1-3 this season. Their lone road victory was a 67-66 win at Fresno State.

This game marks the first-ever meeting between the two programs. For Nebraska, it is the final tune-up before a challenging stretch that includes a home game against rival Creighton on Dec. 7 and the start of Big Ten Conference play. South Carolina Upstate returns home to face Coastal Carolina on Dec. 3.
