WILMINGTON, N.C. (Interstat) — The UNC Wilmington Seahawks look to continue their strong start to the season when they host the Navy Midshipmen in a non-conference men’s basketball game Friday at Trask Coliseum.

The Seahawks (4-1) have won three straight, most recently an 81-73 road victory at Radford on Nov. 21. Nolan Hodge led the way in that contest with 18 points.

Navy (4-3) enters riding a two-game winning streak, including an 84-51 rout of Gardner-Webb on Wednesday. Aidan Kehoe dominated that game, posting a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Donovan Draper added 10 rebounds and five assists.

The Midshipmen have shown resilience after a season-opening loss, but have struggled away from home, dropping road games at North Carolina and Penn State.

UNC Wilmington’s sole loss came on the road against Kent State. The Seahawks have been formidable at home, winning their first two contests in Wilmington by an average of 29 points.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. EST on Friday, Nov. 28.
