NASSAU, The Bahamas (Interstat) — An undefeated Saint Mary’s squad will put its perfect record on the line against a surging Wichita State team in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball showdown Wednesday at Imperial Arena.

The Gaels (6-0) have been dominant to start the season, winning each of their games by double digits. They are coming off a 96-42 rout of UC Merced on Saturday, where Joshua Dent led the way with 24 points. Saint Mary’s boasts a potent offense, having scored at least 80 points in five of their six victories.

Wichita State (4-1) enters the contest with momentum after a 75-58 win over Milwaukee. The Shockers’ lone blemish was a narrow 62-59 road loss to Boise State. Guard Kenyon Giles, who scored 24 points in the win over Milwaukee, will be a key offensive catalyst for the Shockers.

This neutral-site game in The Bahamas presents a significant early-season test for both teams. Saint Mary’s will look to continue its flawless start, while Wichita State aims to secure a statement victory against a high-caliber opponent. The Gaels’ efficient offense will be challenged by a Shockers defense that has held three opponents under 60 points this season.

The game is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025.
