Bryant at Connecticut
HARTFORD, Conn. (Interstat) — The Connecticut Huskies look to rebound from their first loss of the season when they host the struggling Bryant Bulldogs in a non-conference men’s basketball game Sunday at XL Center.
UConn (4-1) saw its four-game winning streak snapped in a 71-67 home loss to Arizona on Wednesday. Eric Reibe led the Huskies with 15 points in that contest, while Silas Demary Jr. added 13 points and Jaylin Stewart had 10. The Huskies’ potent offense, which includes a 110-point outing against UMass Lowell, will be heavily favored against a Bryant defense that has allowed an average of 74.4 points per game.
Bryant (1-4) arrives in Hartford on a three-game losing streak, most recently falling 78-61 at Virginia Tech on Wednesday. Keegan Harvey (12 points) and Quincy Allen (13 points) were the top scorers in that defeat. The Bulldogs’ lone win came against Dartmouth, 82-75, on Nov. 12. Their four losses have all been by double digits.
This matchup presents a stark contrast in early-season trajectories. The Huskies continue a tough stretch against power-conference opponents, while the Bulldogs seek a program-defining upset before a softer segment of their schedule begins next week. Tipoff is set for Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025.
