Northwestern State at Grand Canyon
PHOENIX (Interstat) — The Grand Canyon Antelopes look to get back to .500 on their home floor Friday when they host the struggling Northwestern State Demons at GCU Arena.
Grand Canyon (2-2) is coming off a 78-64 road loss to Saint Louis on Nov. 15. Makaih Williams scored 20 points in the defeat, while Nana Owusu-Anane pulled down 11 rebounds and blocked four shots. The Antelopes are 2-0 at home this season, with decisive wins over Purdue Fort Wayne and Northern Illinois.
Northwestern State (1-4) arrives in Phoenix seeking to stop a three-game skid, all coming on the road. The Demons are coming off an 84-64 loss at San Francisco on Tuesday. Landyn Jumawan led the team with 13 points in that contest. Their lone win was a 95-75 home victory over Ecclesia on Nov. 14.
The Demons have struggled defensively, allowing an average of 88.8 points in their four losses. Containing Grand Canyon’s balanced attack, which has shown potency in Phoenix, will be a primary challenge.
Tipoff is set for Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.
